Were the Gospels in the Holy Bible Eyewitness Testimonies?

This question isn’t easy to answer, but most Christians believe that the Holy Bible is the written word of God and therefore everything and it must be true, so who needs eyewitnesses. This might not be the case, if contradictions in the Gospels can’t be explained.

Were the Gospels in the Holy Bible eyewitness testimonies? The answer to this question is that nobody knows for a fact who actually wrote each one of the four Gospels. If someone told you that the Gospels of the New Testament were based on eyewitness testimonies, there is a pretty good chance, that they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Most biblical scholars agree that Mark was the first of the Gospels written and it was written between 45 and 65A.D. Remember these are only their best guesses and this is what most of the information that scholars believe in today are based on.

To elaborate on the question, I would also like to add that since no one really knows who wrote the four Gospels, how could someone say for a fact that these Gospels were based on eyewitness testimonies. An eyewitness testimony is someone who actually witnessed or watched a particular event that was taking place and recorded it.

The point I would like to make here, is that I was watching a program the other day on Christianity, when someone made this statement,” The book of Matthew was based on eyewitness testimonies.” Don’t quote me on this statement, but it got me thinking about how many people actually believe in something like this.

The next time that someone tells you that the four Gospels or one of the four Gospels was based on eyewitness accounts, ask them if they are giving you scientific evidence or are they simply repeating information that they heard from someone else.

Well, if you truly believe that there aren’t any mistakes in the Bible, simply because it is the written word of God. Do you think that I could change your mind, about your beliefs, by pointing out some mistakes that are well-known to religious scholars about the Holy Bible?

If I can’t change your mind, could a religious studies professor who has studied the New Testament for over 30 years, motivate your curiosity? Could anyone that has studied New Testament Scriptures, get you to at least look at some of the information that they just might be true.

What if I told you that the Bible was written by men and at the most, could have been inspired by God, but there is no evidence to support this claim? Every person that has convinced you that the Bible is perfect and the written word of God, could actually be wrong.
